This product provides powerful instruments to project managers and measurements specialists to plan, monitor and control their projects on a more detailed level, using the same set of KPIs as in the Project Reporting Cockpit.

In addition, this product contains a module that allows one to analyze the historical data of projects from the past. From these data, the model parameters of models like SLIM and COCOMO II are automatically retrieved. When planning new projects, estimated values for these parameters can be used to perform scenario analyses. This prevents project from starting a mission impossible and gives them the underpinned argumentation what is feasible and what not.

Use of capability maturity models like CMMI® has become commonplace among software development organizations. The first step in any process improvement endeavor is to determine the baseline state. An organization can undergo an official (external) appraisal, but that is not a cost-effective solution for an organization that is still a novice in process improvement or is small-sized. For organizations with little process improvement experience or a small development team, a better choice is to conduct a self-assessment. This can also be used as a preparation for an official assessment.

This product supports both SCAMPIsm and internal appraisal teams in recording their CMMI® (version 1.2) findings and (configurable) scores.
